# Welcome to my Digital Portfolio! My name is James Ray and I am a Cybersecurity professional and Digital Privacy Advocate with a passion for education, as well as building faster, more private and secure systems for people to rely on. This Digital Portfolio focuses more on my projects where I practice system administration and security hardening. I am building this lab to teach myself about computer networking, virtualization as well as online privacy and security. My current focus is setting up a virtual enterprise running on Microsoft Active Directory. ## Volunteering: In addition, I volunteer for [The Lioness Instincts](https://www.thelionessinstincts.com/) as a Digital Safety Analyst Volunteer. Working with [Yesenia Yser](https://www.linkedin.com/in/yser/), I apply my expertise in cleaning photo metadata, clearing [Advertising ID](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advertising_ID), proper usage of VPN's, and removing data from [people-finding websites](https://www.soc.mil/IdM/publications/docs/dataAggregators/Aggregator_Opt-out.pdf) to help people preserve their privacy.
